This series contains the note cards of research and lecture notes of Lambert. The note cards are typed and color-coded. Pink cards represent the first card for a given state or area. Blue cards are for roads and highways. White cards focus on one place; a river, town etc. Yellow cards represent an index for the slides. Additionally in box number eighty-five under “lectures” there is another index for the slides. The first column of numbers is the original file number and is no longer used, the second column of numbers contains the number that corresponds to the number on the slides. The note cards starting in box number eighty-three through box number eighty-five are on various subjects, while the others boxes all contain cards on various places, mostly in the United States.
